MOROTAI, JhaziraMU— Pemerintah Kabupaten Pulau Morotai, Maluku Utara, kembali diterpa isu serius terkait pengelolaan proyek fisik. Data terbaru BPKAD Morotai mencatat, tunggakan pembayaran nilai kontrak proyek tahun anggaran 2022 menembus Rp311 miliar.
Jumlah itu melibatkan ratusan kontraktor yang tersebar pada sembilan Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD). Plt. Kepala BPKAD Morotai, Adhar Andi Sunding, menegaskan pihaknya akan mengambil langkah tegas.
“Kami tidak akan berhenti mengejar perusahaan-perusahaan yang belum melunasi hutang kontrak proyek fisik. Ini adalah potensi pendapatan daerah yang wajib dikembalikan,” tegas Adhar, Selasa (26/8/2025).
Berdasarkan catatan SIMDA, rincian tunggakan terbesar ada di Dinas PUPR senilai Rp193 miliar dengan 48 perusahaan terlibat, disusul Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Rp48,8 miliar (117 perusahaan), serta Dinas Perhubungan Rp30 miliar (2 perusahaan).
Adhar menegaskan, pihaknya juga menelusuri penggunaan material termasuk galian C yang dipakai perusahaan. Bila tidak ada penyelesaian, kasus ini akan dilimpahkan ke aparat penegak hukum.
“Kalau perusahaan tetap membandel, akan ada sanksi tegas lewat jalur hukum,” ujarnya.
